    Only Ford Approved Service Centres, and their Ford licensed technicians, have the knowhow and equipment to service your car to Ford’s superior standards. To become, and continue to operate within the Ford network, Ford Service Centres are required to commit to meeting a range of industry standards relating to quality of workmanship, customer care and much more! Ford Service Centres are also required to ensure that all of their Ford technicians meet technical competencies that typically exceed those found in other non-Ford Service Centres. For example, all Ford Service Centres are required to have at least one Master technician, which is the highest level that a craftsperson can achieve in their respective discipline!

    As part of our Ford BlueService , we promise that our Service Centres will treat you fairly, promptly and courteously, and that your car will be ready on time, every time!

    But they say that actions speak louder than words! In Ford, we strive to ensure that the people working in Ford Service Centres have the necessary skill-sets to deliver the highest levels of Customer Care. In view of this, all Ford Customer facing personnel are required to undertake regular training courses using the very latest in both classroom and e-learning based training activities.

    Every year, our Ford Service Centre Customer Satisfaction scores continue to outperform industry benchmarks. In 2011, our Customer Relationship Centre was crowned Ford Champions of Europe as a result of receiving top-box Customer Satisfaction scores in multiple categories. In recent months, an Irish Ford Service Centre was voted the best Franchise Aftersales Operation by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry.     The prices listed in ‘Ford Recommended Service Prices’ are considered maximum retail prices only and, in many cases, individual Service Centres will often charge less for a service! Having the ‘actual’ service price upfront means no hidden charges or nasty surprises! Nonetheless, before basing your decision on the price alone, it’s important to note that the Ford Service Centre will carry out your car’s service as per Ford engineering guidelines, which is likely to include specialised repair procedures, and the fitment of Ford original parts, that are entirely necessary for the upkeep of your car. This may not always be the case elsewhere! Our Ford Service Centres will not only ensure that you’ll receive a service designed by the people who built your vehicle, you’ll also receive a whole lot more into the bargain – just look at our ten service promises!     What is the BlueService Price Guarantee?

    A service is just oil and filters, surely anyone can do that?
    Modern vehicles are very dependent upon electronic systems to keep them running in optimum condition. Only a Ford Service Centre has Ford licensed technicians, Ford-specific tools and the latest computerised diagnostic equipment designed specifically for your car. Your Ford Service Centre will also know exactly which service is due, dependent on mileage and age.

    What type of work is carried in a ‘standard’ and ‘major’ service?
    The type of work carried out in a Ford service typically depends on the model you’re driving. Whilst there are many different types of service procedures involved, most petrol and diesel cars will have the oil filter, engine oil and odour filter replaced during a ‘standard’ service. The technician will also undertake a full electronic health check of your car, which looks at lights, fluid levels, tyres, suspension, brakes, and much more. An electronic print-out of the check will provide you with a clear assessment of your car’s safety and to point out any items requiring urgent attention. Using the latest Ford computerised diagnostic equipment; the technician will also check for any outstanding software updates or technical enhancements required for your car and carry these out for free.

    A ‘major’ service typically takes longer to conduct. It requires additional service actions to be undertaken, and additional parts to be fitted, by the Ford Service Centre. Similar to the ‘standard’ service, the Ford technician will undertake a health check of the vehicle. However, the check is usually more comprehensive and may include various adjustments made to your car’s brakes, steering and ancillary belts for example.

    What do you mean by Software Updates and Technical Enhancements?

    Throughout the lifetime of a car, Ford is always striving to improve the operational efficiency of its vehicles. So, from time to time, Ford engineers will introduce software changes or advise our Ford Service Centres to undertake specific technical enhancements to the vehicle. Whenever your car is serviced, we will check for any outstanding software updates or technical enhancements and upgrade your car for free, ensuring your vehicle continues to operate at its optimum performance.

    Why carry out a Vehicle Health Check, isn’t it part of the service?
    At Ford we take Duty of Care very seriously. We believe your safety and the condition of your car is paramount. Consequently, we promise to always carry out a multi-point vehicle health check, including a body and paint check, and report our findings to you. We promise not to carry out any repairs, or fit any parts, without first receiving your permission to do so.

    No catch. Roadside Assistance, anywhere in Europe, 24 hours a day, is included in the service cost. The policy, worth over €100, is for a maximum of 12 months or up to the next service, whichever comes first.

    If I get a puncture you said you will repair it?

    What is the benefit of using genuine parts and having a parts guarantee?
    When having your car serviced, you can be sure that only parts stamped with a Ford trademark, our one of its approved component suppliers, will be fitted to your car. Our parts are all designed to the highest quality to ensure that they last the pace, are safe, and are fit for purpose. More importantly, all safety related Ford components undergo the most stringent of industry tests, providing you with the peace-of-mind that if you are unfortunate to be involved in an accident, the components will perform as well as those fitted during the production of your car. However, if in the unlikely event that part should fail unexpectedly, the Ford Service Centre will replace the part for free.     Can I get a replacement car?
    Yes. Most Ford Service Centres will try to accommodate you the best they can in order to keep you mobile. However, you will be expected to give reasonable notice to the Ford Service Centre so as to ensure that a courtesy car is available for you on the day of your service. Alternatively, the Ford Service Centre may offer you a collection and delivery service, or drop you back home or to your place of work.

    The Ford BlueService offer consists of a vehicle service conducted to manufacturers standards, and also consists of the following;

    3. The Ford BlueService offer of free Roadside Assistance is for 12 months or up to the next service schedule, whichever comes first.

    4. Your Ford BlueService annual service is carried out as per the manufacturer’s service guidelines, including a free multi-point vehicle inspection. However, depending on the age/mileage of the vehicle, certain model derivatives may require additional service work or parts fitted.

    5. The Ford BlueService offer of free vehicle health check refers to a visual inspection of the vehicle by a Ford trained Technician or Service Advisor. All visible items such as the tyre condition, exterior lights, fluid levels, body & paint check etc. are duly inspected as part of the VHC process

    6. The Ford BlueService offer of free check for outstanding Service Actions & Software Updates refers to an inspection of the vehicle’s engineering/warranty history via an online electronic technical information system. Any outstanding safety recalls, service actions or software update relating to the vehicle will be carried out at no cost to the customer.

    7. The Ford BlueService offer of free fitment of bulbs does not include Xenon, Internal and LED bulbs.

    8. The Ford BlueService offer of Genuine Parts Warranty covers all scheduled maintenance items for twelve months, or up to their next due scheduled replacement, whichever comes first.

    9. The Ford BlueService offer of a free car wash consists of an exterior wash of the vehicle either by hand, power wash or by a conventional water brush system. It does not it include interior cleaning of the vehicle.

    10. The Ford BlueService offer of service price match guarantee refers to any service quotation received from any licenced independent, or non-Ford affiliated workshops, offering a service price lower than that of the Dealer’s listed price or the national suggested service price, whichever is lower, using Ford genuine parts and where evidence has been provided that the service includes all of the benefits of the Ford Service. This offer excludes all other Ford Dealers.

    11. The Ford BlueService suggested prices are inclusive of VAT @ 13.5%, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other service or parts offer.

    12. The Ford BlueService suggested service price is restricted to 4 cylinder petrol (normally aspirated) and 4 cylinder diesel (turbo-charged or normally aspirated) engines up to 2.5 litres. ST, RS models, commercial vehicles and motorhomes are excluded. Please consult with a Service Advisor for a quote on vehicles that fall outside of the terms and conditions of this offer.

    The Dealership reserves the right to make amendments to the content of the suggested service prices, and the Ford BlueService offer at any time.
