Officially recognised as the most innovative safety technology in Europe

Euro NCAP is Europe’s leading independent safety organisation. They rigorously test and evaluate every new car launched in Europe and score each vehicle from one to five stars, with five being the highest achievable.
As proof of our commitment to your safety, Ford vehicles including the new Focus, B-MAX and Fiesta, consistently receive Euro NCAP 5-star awards.
But there’s another level that’s even higher. And more Ford technologies have achieved this superior standard than any manufacturer.
Rewards for innovation
While the Euro NCAP’s star system focuses on crash safety, their Advanced rewards recognise only the most innovative new avoidance, crash and post-crash technologies.
This is a stringent process of judging and analysis. So we’re proud to have received a total of seven of the Euro NCAP Advanced rewards.
More importantly, you can feel reassured that when you’re driving a Ford, you could be behind the wheel of one of the safest cars around.
